Eibach Pro-kit

I've been searching this springs on here for a while and can't come up with much info. Has anyone run this springs before? It says 1" drop all around is that accurate? Looking to run them with Bilstein HD's. Had Swift before but wasn't happy with the drop or body roll.

I believe those are the ones that are on mine.
They are prob one of the better springs out as Eibach has a great rep, but IMO its leaves a little to be desired.
Im deff doing a full coilover setup on mine when i get some cash. i bought it with these on already

Do you or anyone else have pictures of the car with the Pro-Kit installed? Has anyone put them on an MR? How did the Bilsteins hold up?

I'm sure Scheides will post up some pics, but his car is very comfortable with these springs. We even had his car loaded down with 4 big guys for a weekend away and had no issues or complaints. I believe its a 1.3" drop all around.

There are best two pictures i have of my car at work. These were taken with 4 people in the car. Hope this helps, as Kracka said im sure Scheides can chime in with more pictures.

That's way lower than an inch but it's with your crew in the car. Any empty pics?

The eibachs do an even 1.3" front and back, so the rear looks pretty dang slammed whether there's 3 girls in the car (like in rosey's car posted above woot woot!) or its empty. The ride is greatly improved over the stock springs when using the stock GSR shocks, but in a subtle way. The progressive springs take the edge out of all of the little cracks and bumps in the roads here in MN and I noticed the difference, but unfortunately my wife did not. I recently upgraded to a set of Bilstein shocks out of an MR and she (and I) definitely noticed the difference. The ride is very every complient but the thing I love is I still have that direct connection to the road that makes evos so much fun and audis suck (because they do not have it). If you have back problems or a whiney wife, the Bilstein MR/Eibach spring combo is 100% the way to go.

These shocks are progressive, so when you first dive into a corner they feel stock-ish and when you go deep into a corner or some left-right-left twisties they still set really nice. I have an upgraded (Progress) rear sway bar and the car handles like a dream. I have friends with swifts and bilsteins and they are a bit tighter all around and are probably the other 'ideal' spring on the market (IMHO).

Anyways, I got tons of pics (these are with 18x8.5 Rota P45F's with potenza 245/40's):

Here's a shot with stock rims w/ 235/40-17 general snow tires:

All of those pics are with the KYB's. The car sits identically with the bilsteins though (I think it does anyways--I didn't actually measure) since its the springs that dictate the ride height and not the shocks

Can you do me a favor and just take a picture now that it's on the Bilsteins? It'll probably a bit higher in the rear but that's what I want. Maybe from the same position as this shot. Thanks so much.

I am 99% sure that the Eibacks are softer sprung than the Swifts. That will increase roll.

(From spring rate thread - Eibach lists 1in on their site, but I think it is 1.2 -- what is the final rate?)
Stock(USDM):..........180lbs(3.2k)....225lbs(4.0k) ......STOCK
Eibach Pro-Kit:**....165lbs(2.9k)....140lbs(2.5k)....1.2f / 1.2r

Swifts are progressive. They bite into a turn, the lowest rating are is used up in the first inch of travel then it goes right to the highest rating.

Swift Sports: 179-269, 207-319 (157-314 for MR). -1.4, -0.8 drop.
Swift Spec R's: 157-358, 196-380 (153-380 for MR). -1.4, -0.8 drop.

If anything, I would get the Spec Rs if you wanted the stiffest spring rates.

Forgot to add - what tires and pressures are you running?

^eibachs are progressive as well, so same deal. I've never found what the initial and final spring rates are for them though. I've riden both, and the swifts are just a hair tighter.

OP, if you don't like the body roll, have you upgraded your rear sway bar?
