I love it!

I took the car out a little after dinner. I haven't really pushed my new Evo since wrecking my last Evo. I used to drive VERY hard on the street... way too hard come to think of it. Being sideways on turn-in was just a normal everyday thing that never phased me. After the night I bit off more than I could chew, oversteer scares the HELL out of me. Even nice neutral rotation at mid-corner scares me!

But anyway, I went out and pushed the car a little... 6 - 7/10's maybe. With my new suspension, I can tell all this car wants to be sideways. Turn-in is SOOO friggin' sharp. Mid-corner understeer even without pushing too hard I can tell is pretty non-existant. It feels very good, but I'm holding back a lot. I don't trail-brake like I used to. The car is so sharp that I feel like it's WAY out of my league. I need to get on the track and stop this street nonsense

It's obvious that changing springs will make a differance, but such a big differance like this switching from Tanabe's to RobiSpec's, the car changed for the better. Much better. The Tanabes made the car feel very...off. Alot of body roll, more than stock, I think. The car would pitch so much and it lacked confidence. I can't describe it, but the Robi springs make the car stiff, sharp and absolutly perfect. Much more confident

Track it and stop the nonsense. I need to take my own advice. Glad to see it's working out. Take some pics of the new stance.

I'm from the DSM crowd where cheap is a holy word. Since the RobiSpec rear springs are said to be about the same as stock, how much of an improvement do you think could be had with just a set of springs for the front?

Close to the same spring rate, not ride height. Raking the car with stock springs in the rear and stiff low spirngs in the front isn't a good idea.

I know money is tight for everybody, but if you're going to do it, wait until you can afford to do it right Besides I'm not sure if anybody would sell you JUST front springs.

Dont strees too much about it. At least you will have a brand new pair of struts to compliment the springs.

I am sure a lot of us have spent money on parts unnecessarily at times...
