coilover comparison...need input and post reviews!

well i posted a thread up a few months back when i first got my 06 MR. i was looking for springs and all of you guys really helped me out! i ordered the swifts and i must say they handle great. i just find myself wanting to lower the car more on stock wheels and i plan on going with an aggressive wheels in the next month or so. i will be selling the swift springs on MR bilstiens to a friend and now i need to go ahead and order some coil overs. i have been searching for last 3 or 4 days and havent really been able to find much info, but have found alot of threads about people looking to do the same things that i am.

i will NOT be tracking the car due to the aggressive wheels i will be running. im getting coilovers so i can lower the car nicely and evenly on stock wheels and then adjust it accordingly for the wheels i get later. therefore im looking to get a decent suspension setup that will have a decent ride and not blow out within 6 months to a year. i really would like to stay aroung $1000 range and no more than $1500.

Brands i have been considering........
BC Racing BR Series
K Sport
Apexi N1
Megan Street
PIC Performance Select
Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC
Stance

please post any input and all your reviews on these if you are currently running them!!

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Only two out of the bunch I would pick with be Stance or PIC's. Reason being they offer support and there are more than a few than run them successfully at the track for the most part.

To be more exact PM touge factory on Stance AL+ Pro with swift springs. Good setup for not alot of money. I would also consider the PIC R1 select. They have 8kF and 10kR springs with good valving.

Another newer option you may want to consider is AMR Engineering coilovers. They are on here only a few people have them but I hear they are good. Lead time is 6-8 weeks but it's a good product I hear just not alot of people have ran them. Personally I don't like running something not proven but other platforms have had success with them. All those coilovers can be had for around $1400-1800 anything cheaper than that and thats exactly what it is...cheap coilovers with inferior valving. Don't fall into the typical Megan/BC crap with junk valving that people think work so good...internals are what are important. Anything under the $1500-2000k range you start to make compromises here or there so keep that in mind when shopping. The two above seem to do pretty well in their price point, I would consider those a bare minimum as far as decent coilovers go.

Bilstein PSS9s, at a minimum. Roomie has Stance AL+ and there is no comparison in ride quality and handling. He's not totally unsatisfied, but he regrets the purchase.

You get what you pay for with suspension systems. Speaking from personal experience, the Megans are complete rubbish.

Complete crap quality and their customer service is terrible. The coilovers are poorly engineered and not matched well in terms of the damping / spring rates.
