So as of the past 2 weeks or so I've been hearing a weird creak from the front of my car anytime my evo drives over any sort of imperfection or bump on the road. It just started happening and in the period when it began nothing has been changed on my car. All i have for suspension is some BC coilovers. Any thoughts? I know my description is vague, but after having a local performance allignment shop look my car over (a visual inspection i know it's not the best) they said it may be a bushing that may have gone out.

Any thoughts?

 

Bushing, Ball Joint, Tie Rod End, or the spring turning on its lower perch.

All could cause a sqeeking or creak

Jack up the wheel grab tire top and bottom then side to side or even use a pry bar from the ground if there is play. If so, its likely a ball joint or Tie rod end. Have a buddy do it and look under at the tie rod end and ball joint as he does do you see any play in them they will sort of look like they are coming apart.

If no play is noted its likely a bushing or the spring turning on it's perch
