bikerboy, if you want a good tire at a good price, go with the Dunlop Star Spec Z1.

No it does not. It has been improved since being re-rolled out.

Go to Search, Advanced Search, put in what you want, then select the forum you want to search (Wheel Tire for this one), change sort results by to relevancy and BAM -

I totally agree!!!!! Ive never seen worse search tool.. Not flexible at all.

If you enter the word "Bridgestone" and add "s" for plural or miss "e" for misspelling, you dont get an answer!!!

If you search for "semi-slicks", it doesnt give you threads names "semislick" or "semi slicks"!!!!!! So if I want to know more about semi slicks, I have to try out every term in this world that relates!!!!!

Regarding the tires, I do agree that Dunlop direzza Z1 star spec is one of the very best so far; tons of grip, relatively good tread wear, and verygood-excellent wet grip; as a value for money, it the best currently!!!

You can checkout its review on tirerack!!

My personal opinion is that the kdw2s don't cost much, and are okay for the summer, and the tread seems to last forever, but they aren't the best, and there are lots of tires in the same price range. Also, they are loud as hell!

I've been on them for a bit under 20k and the tread is maybe down to half. I'm going to try the Ventus V12 Evos next summer, or maybe the Z1s, unless these kdw2s are still doing well.

BTW - there is a "site review" of the Nitto Invo right off the evom front page, left column. Not the most comprehensive, but it is a start and you don't need to use search for it.

He speaks the truth on both accounts.

I have been running a set of star specs on my s13, and so far they are one of my favorite street tire I have run.

I had the Nitto Invo and they are good tire for what they were. Pretty nice ridding, good in rain but I wouldn't run them on a track. Turn in was horrible and couldn't hold a line. If you aren't tracking them, then they are a good tire for the money. If you want some tires better for the track and still easy on the wallet go with the NT05's. Those are pretty good for about everything.
