Brake Pads On A Budget

Playing the role of single parent at the moment, but in need of brake pads. The last set of pads I got were from autozone, duralast gold or some nonsense. They barely lasted a year if that. Does anyone know what brand, size, price, and where I can find some other brake pads?

Thanks much,
~Christopher

They have a lifetime warranty but they should def. last longer than a year. I've gotten 2 years, my DD, along with 1 track day so far and still more than 75% meat left.

If you're looking for some decent brake pads on a budget check out RacingBrake ET300's.

You should be able to get Hawk HPS pads for $100-110 shipped to your door.... They've lasted me 2-3 years. I just put in another set a month ago. I also had my rotors turned for $40 bucks. My evo is my daily driver with 97,XXX miles on her.

What's your budget?

why not just take the pads back to autozone and pay the difference to upgrade to duralast cmax(i think thats what they are called) but they are fully ceramic with low dust and squeeling...

Ran both on my car. The Axxis are alittle more aggressive I think, but dust more, and sqeal alittle. But both are good, and fit the budget well.

I like the ULTs so far, I got them from Perrin, cheapest place I found and fast shipping. I think they were about $130 shipped for front and rear

I've noticed mine are a bit noisy as well, but not all the time. The dust is significantly less so far than the stock pads from what I've seen

Hawk street pads are junk in my book. See my Brake thread for pictures. They have little to no bite and glazed over easily (too low of a MOT).

I just got the Axxis ULTs a few weeks ago. Paid $126 shipped front and rear. Great pads, better bite, less dust and so far no noise. I have done 2 autox events with them and love them.
