I need wheels spacer help...

I got some Volks in 18x8.5 with a 40mm offset & from what I understand, I need some spacers to make them fit properly. I think a 10mm spacer should do it. I'll be running a 235 40 18. Don't I need a "hubcentric" wheel spacer? If I do the Ichiba spacers that bolt on(Version 2) will I have to shorten my stock studs? Project Kics makes 10mm bolt on spacers, but they aren't hubcentric...do I even need them to be hubcentric? Thanks!!

Hubcentric is definitely the way to go. Much easier to install.
