brake noise problem

ok i just got this car and when you turn left and use the brakes there is a terrible metal to metal squeel. only when you turn left .and only on the passenger front tire.
so i fugured the pads were done.i pulled them out and inspected them and the caliper.the pads were damn near new ebcs and no problem discovered. i scuffed up the pads and reinstalled them ,no luck the sound is bad too.
any ideas?

Did you see any scaring on the rotor? If it only happens when your turning left then it could ether be a bearing so the wheel is shifting when pressure is on it and the rotor could be touching the caliper or the wheel could be touching something on the car or strut.

You said the pads were new right, EBC has a special like sandpaper coating on the face of the pads to help them scrape off the old pad material off faster. Are your pads waring evenly? Sometimes when your fluid is dirty one side of your caliper could be using more pressure then the other and that can ware one pad faster.

You sure its coming from the brakes?

Also what kind of wheels/ tires are on your car (offset and tire size)? Does it do it at speed when you are just turning normally or only at slow speeds with the wheel at full lock?

wheels and tires are stock, the pads are evenly worn. and the fluid is very cean. i saw no scarring on the rotor but then again i didnt dig in deep enough to see the inside of it. it happens whether your turned fully or a little bit at slow speed and either in reverse or forward.
i would say bearing too but geez the car only has 24k on it lol

think ill be doing an in depth look this evening.because with that sound and being that loud it has to be something i can see if i look hard enough im guessing its on the inside of the rotor.is it normal to need a wheel bearing with 24k on these cars?

Under normal driving your bearing should be fine but there are so many variables that can ware a bearing out faster. For all we know you could have a bad bearing its all up to chance and though the chance is very low there is always a chance you you could be that special guy. Chances are though its not eh bearing but something else. Check the rotor for scaring, and your wheels and fender well for rubbing or contact. Check your ABS and brake line an well because it could have gotten loose and when you turn it flexes in a way where it touches the inner lip of your wheel.
