Rota Grid Fitment
Rota Grid Fitment
the wheels im looking forward in buying are rota grids 18x9.5 +20
now from what i heard u dont need a spacer and OF COURSE u need fender rolling...
heres a picture of a perfect example of the same wheels

now my concern was that since i am only dropped on springs i dont have the availabilty to run negative camber, is negative camber needed?
and the size tire i have is 255
can you run these with springs? i have H & R Springs
thank you guys! inputs would be nice and generous!

You should be fine. Evos have the ability to run -2 degrees in the front in stock form by flipping the essentric bolts in the front. I recommend getting an alignment for -1.5 to -2 in front, and -1 to -1.5 in the rears, zero out the toe. It should help the fitment to be more flush, and aid in handling.

figured i would add a little more to the topic in case some is searching for this later on...
with a 18x9.5 wheel with offset in the low +20's like the rota grid seems like the common tire width is 255 now what about profile?? some are running 40 while other 35. many companies dont offer a 255/35r18 i personaly would prefer running a 255/40r18 tough, so whats the clearance issues with the slightly taller tire.
the fortune auto rs seems to be happy running his 40 series and it looks great might i add!

the 255-35-18 is offered and with the "profile" aka aspect ratio you dont need to roll fenders on a 18x9.5 wheel if slightly lowered. the 40 series is a bit tall IMO but can be done. The 35 series gives you a more aggressive look and gives you options such as the potenza and advan setup for tires. getting aggressive you can run a 275-35-18
I just prefer the look of a meatier tire. The stock aspect ratio is 45 I would think that a 40 ratio for an 18 would be ideal not look tall. If anything a 35 would look short requiring a bigger drop to take up the wheel gap

i guess it really comes downt to tire brand also,
i was just confused by what you meant by the 35 looking more aggressive? its a smaller tire, i just didnt want to have the car too low in order to get rid of the wheel gap.
