tire fitment question

ok i have some 235/40/18 tires sitting around .if i get 18x8.5 wheels will they make it?

I think so. 255/40/17x9's fit under stock unaltered fenders.

There is a tire/wheel section.

oh i meant will they fit the rim ok or are they not wide enough? how wide of a rim can i use these tires on?

These are again questions for the tire/wheel section but I would say that 18x8.5 sounds like the perfect size for a 235/40. You'd get some nice sidewall stretch to keep em stiff. You could probably go up to a 255.

I think with 17x10.5's you'd probably have to do some fender rolling.
