Robispec race coilovers
In two words? Baaaaddddd Aaaasssssss. You won't find a more balanced, lightweight, high performing 2 way shock combo for the money....anywhere. More podium finishes then about anything currently. Unless you spend the super $$$ on some tripples and up. Remember these are custom shocks, so they are valved, spring'd, and even the oil is made to order especially for the Evo and Racing. Not an off the shelf pair that just has the bracket welded on and a spring to "match."

Remember Robi has 3 KW's that are made just for him that can only be ordered through him..the Race KW's are the huge $$$ ones...rode in one car that had them...and DAMN!!!! even the club sports are crazy..

^ What Matt D. said. When you refer to "robispec race coilovers" here it's his KW version 99% of the time. He has started work with AST and JRZ as well but I don't think he's got hsi own branded combo yet. But these are the shocks I and lots of other track ****** run. Basically they have the same Piston as the tarmac rally comp's without all the adjustability.
I've run robispec KW clubsports, and now have the robispec KW Gruppe-N's. The Gruppe-N's were purchased "lightly used".
To me, the biggest advantage of going robispec is the support. Let's face it, most of us are far from suspension gurus and the more advance the suspension, the more difficult it is to dial the car in. You can purchase the most expensive suspension in the world, and the car will handle like poo unless it is set up properly.
Out of the box and during the install, robi will set the car up so that you will get 85%-90% of the benefit of the product. From there, it is up to you to test it and make the adjustments based on your driving style, type of track, conditions, etc.
Although it can be challenging to get a hold of Robert some times, once you do have a chance to speak with him, he will help you dial in the last 10-12%...there will always be room for the final tweaks.
There are other Evom vendors out there that provide the same level of support for their products like JRZ, AST, GTWORX, and the like. If you are on the West Coast and can get track side support, robispec is a no-brainer.
If you are going to spend real money on a suspension, make sure you get the support behind it!
