Suspsension problem
So I just finished off 60k service and completed a long drive (300+ miles). Now I was just backing out of my garage when I noticed my car got stuck. It made an extreme rubbing noise and I instantly thought it was my rears rubbing. Now my garage is on an incline so naturally it would roll backwards down the slope. Keep in mind the steering is straight the entire time. No luck. So I peek around and I notice my front passenger side wheel is running "extreme" camber. It is knocked way out (looks like -5 degrees camber) vs. my other side running -2.8 on coils. Its late, and I'm tired so I am going to take the wheel off and jack the car up tomorrow to inspect.... Any input is appreciated!
Got to take a look today. Found out the damn lower bolt was missing entirely. The rubbing was the wheel against the inside of the wheel well and the shock itself. I managed to source a replacement bolt from the dealer but it seems smaller than the original. It bolted up ok (width of the bolt to slot was ok but the bolt size wasn't 19mm but 17mm) and ran fine. I'm hoping to pick up the same size 19mm in the future but this bolt will have to do.
What bothers me is that I ran a year and a half on LA streets as well as many track events with no issues whatsoever and it suddenly disappears on me. Anyone got the exact part # so I can tell the mitsu parts guy specifically instead of giving me a smaller bolt?
