Alignment HELP

I put new snow tires on my car last month and figured I need to get an alignment. The last time I got my car aligned was at 28k miles when I installed coilovers. I'm not at 55k.

I took my car into Firestone for the life time alignment program. I took my car in last Friday and they told me it could not be aligned. They told me I need a bolt to adjust the camber. I tried telling them that I had camber plates on top of the flex coilovers but I don't think they understood.

So I had them order the part and scheduled a time to go in on Monday. When they gave me my car back it had a hard pull to the right that was not there before. Monday comes around, I take my car in and show them the camber plates (So I did not have to buy something I did not need).

When they were done and pulled my car around, they told me it had a pull to the right... WTF??? I thought that is what the f-ing alignment was for. I have been driving my car all week and still a pull to the right. It's not as bad as it was like when I got the car back on Friday, but it's still not right!

Any ideas on what I can do or what my need to be done??? Also, they had NO factory specs to go off of when the alignment was done.

The front alignment may be ok, but they may have messed up the rear alignment, it only needs to be a 1/2 mil out on the rear to pull to the steering wheel.

Take it to a race shop near you. To do a proper alignment takes a little while.

We always align at home with string, always happy.

You can take your car to three alignment shops one after the other and each will tell you the alignment was out.

A shop here has a $20,000 alignment machine, they would do an alignment on it then check it all with string and it was always out, they kept getting the alignment machine service crew out to keep checking it, finally they gave up, they use the machine to park the car on but now just use string and it is the best alignment anyone does.

Going to any of the big chains and expecting a consistent and quality alignment just isn't going to happen. Find out where the local autocross and track guys go.

The place that did your alignment had no idea what they were doing. That's the cause.
