It's been a while so I don't remember but..

I was putting the wheels on today and I noticed something - Are the lug nuts on the rear wheels supposed to stick out slightly more than the lug nuts on the front wheels? (stock wheels)

I did a search, didn't come up with anything

edit - actually all of them are sticking out further than the right front wheel

I found out!!!

The wheel has to go on the studs in a certain way, otherwise the studs don't stick out of the wheels straight and the lug nut can't go all the way through into the hole!
Who knew? Not me lol

Good to be concerned, I think.

I suggest pulling the offending wheel and another, and measuring the length of the studs.

Also check the wheel thickness.

 

All I can say is that it looks to be two different kinds of lug nuts. Compare them with the others to find out for sure.

I was just gonna ask if you seated the lugnuts correctly. A trick I use is to thread the lugnuts on slightly, then pull the wheel out to the nuts and make sure they're all in the holes. I then use my impact gun to tighten them from there. If that makes sense at all...
