Need coilover help ASAP.

buddy of mine is gettig rid of his BC racing coilovers which are practically brand new. he told me he'll givethem to me for 400 bucks wich is AMAZING deal.. only thing is

they're on a 2006 subaru legacy..

question.... in order to make these fit an evo.. all i'll havta do is buy top hats and change the top hats? yes ? or is there anything else i'll havta do?
will this work? someone help b/c i need to let him know if iwant them or not otherwise he's gunna sell them for full price to someone else

I highly doubt it. Suspension mounts and pick-up points are all different. Spring rate and valving also prolly doesn't work for an Evo.

Funny story, I remember someone getting their replacement inserts from Megan for their Subaru Legacy....and the packaging even said that it was the damper insert for EVO, Impreza, and Legacy. One size fits all....i suppose....except when it doesn't.

Anyway that's just the damper inserts. You might be able to source the lower mounts and new tophats, but all in all it's going to be a decent amount of work and you're probably not saving much money over buying a new set of any other chinese coilover that use the same valving and spring rates for 3 very different cars.

The mounts are completely different. You'd have to fab up the rears and the fronts are going to be way off as well. Definitely skip it.
