Wheels are balanced (I even used two different sets). Rotors are OK (no problems while braking). This does not happen on the turns (cornering), but usually after the turn on the straight.

It is pad transfer....as you said it happens AFTER the turn. the rotor cleans itself off during the following straightaway. There has been a ton of threads in the past about transfer layer causing this.

proper re-bedding before the event helps a bit. different pads sometimes helps.

Is there a reason you aren't replacing or commenting on the tie rod question? I have this same issue with mine just developed, a "9 & 3" shake showed it is just one outer tie rod end, $15 for a lifetime warranty one at the local autoparts store...

Local parts stores ALL had the wrong info for the evo... MSRP from a dealer on these is $40.93... maybe hit up RussellM here.

I know you're not in cbus that often, but the local ricart dealership seems to have a lot of parts in stock.

So the tie rod(s) was the culprit?

I think my car may be developing these symptoms
