Question for all:
I live in inland southern california. It olny rains about 10 to 12 inches per year. Therefore, I'm not too concerned about the wet weather characteristics of my next set of tires. With that said, would I be better off just getting another set of stock advans instead of my number 2 choice, the SO3s?

Your choice. The S03s would probably last longer than Advans, and cost less than A046s, but the A046s work on the EVO like they were made for it ...

Does anyone have experience with the Falken Azenis Sport tires? I have heard some good things about it for max dry performance.
