I've rotated my tires twice already, I did not notice any decrease in tire noise.

We recommend that high performance tires be rotated every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, even if they don't show signs of wear. More rotations will promote longer tire life and even wear. It will cut down on the noise somewhat because the tires are wearing more evenly. But with a tire like the Advan, noise level will still be high no matter what you do

If you have the money, or know how to do it yourself, there is a better way to rotate the Advans...

Since they are directional, they can only be rotated front to back.

If you have the time, you can dismount them from the tire and do an X swap like a proper rotation. That'll be the absolute best way to do a rotation, but it takes time and money/effort.

You think the stock tires are loud??? You gotta hear the Conti Extreme Contacts on y Evo... They are absurdly loud, esspecially on crappy tarmac.

Whatup all,

I have ~8k miles and noticed a lot of tires noise, esp when decelerating to a stop.

Shamefully, I admit that I thought the wheel key did not fit, so I kept putting it off. I tried it again this past weekend and it worked . Anyway, I noticed a big improvement in tire noise and my car seems to track straighter as well. I did the simple front to back switch.

Take care,
