Volk Center Cap Help

i have the WCLECR Center Caps and i'm trying to install them on my 18x9.5 +22 TE37's, but i'm having some trouble. is there some kind of technique to install these center caps on these wheels? they fit perfectly in the hole, but it seems like the o-ring is too big so the center cap won't go all the way through the wheel. it's frustrating me that something so simple is being so difficult! when i installed the flat type center caps on the wheels all i did was hit it with my palm and it went in easy. these are being a B*TCH!

if its meant for that wheel and size then just give it a good push.. point is that its really tight so it doesnt spin off when driving
