Still dont know if this even does anything at all. Will find out Dec 13-14 when I go to willow.

It might be stronger if the braces were shaped like a triangle or an X instead of being square. I guess it keeps you from carrying a spare tire, or does it unbolt to access the spare?

I could carry a spare and it does unbolt easily. I was going to do a Z pattern as shown in the first pic, but I thought I would try the H.
