arch rolling

Hey guys,

need some advice and help, has anyone successfully rolled the arches on there 7,8,9 without and issues?

the guys over here in the UK only really talk about bad issues, just wondering whether its possible to do without damaging your arches or creasing?

thanks

Jon

Jon, absolutely possible to do without damage. You just need someone who knows what they are doing and takes teir time. I've found using a heat gun is key as well. (It prevents the paint from cracking) Just finda reputable body shop wit a fender roller and have at it!

I did 4 cars over the weekend with no problems. Get a good heat gun, and the East wood roller. Take your time and you'll be fine.

You can get back pretty far. I left about 1 inch from screw that screws the bumper to the body.

really, been told to be aware of the welds toward the back of the arch, is that not an issue?

No, the welds are not an issue as you are folding the lip only and the welds are higher past the folding point. The only time the rear welds become an issue is if you are cutting the rear quarter panel, don't ask me how I know.
