staggered tire setup hurt my tcase?

As the title states, my car has 245/45/17's in the back and 235/45/17's up front. I've heard from some that it wont make a difference and by others that I'm risking messing up my t-case. I'm sure its been proven somewhere, but I'm just getting he-say, she-say.. do I need to ditch what I have and make them all even, or will running the different sizes be safe on my t-case?

the car is an 03 gsr, so no front diff., no active diff stuff that came on 05+

Thanks in advance.

Fix that ASAP. Makes a big difference, you are hurting the t-case.

No problem. Hope your t-case is OK.

its got over 100k miles on it, so i was expecting to rebuild it anyway, but i would rather not speed up the process (knock on wood. the car has probably 5k miles on the tire setup.)

I don't know what the circumference difference would be between the two sizes. But if there is much difference then the center differential will be running all of the time. If the center differential runs all of the time the viscous coupling will try to lock.

Its an 11 rev per mile difference between the 245 and 235. 0.18in difference in sidewall height.

Okay, not enough to wake up the viscous coupling.
