max wheel width 18x8.5 or 9?

max wheel width 18x8.5 or 9?

for evo V and VI. recomended is 18x8.5 with 30-33 mm offset. fitted with 235/40/18. can I go a little wider? maybe 18x9? if so, with what offset? thanks!

5zigen FN01R-C wheels in 17x9 fit the EVO8, some people on the board have them. I think they have a +15 offest.

I'm looking at getting some SSR professor SP-1s. wider the wheelthe lip, I think. 15mm offset too crazy for 9 inch wheel?

+15 is too deep an offset. For Evolutions, offsets are more in the +33-38 range.

thats what I thought. 38 sounds like it won't fit the brakes.

so back to the topic, is 9 ich too wide? 9.5? with these width, what kind of offset am I looking at?

The fn01r-c 17x9 needs the +35 offset for the Evo.
