Has anyone cycled the ABS with Evoscan?
Has anyone been able to cycle their ABS with Evoscan?
I need to cycle the ABS system and have Evoscan 2.7 with a 1.3U cable.
I can not connect to the ABS.
The cable has pin 1 & 15 connected so the L line is complete.
Gray wire from pin 9 is removed from the car.
Drivers are from Evoflash and ES sees the cable. I presume if ES sees the cable this is not a driver issue?
The car has an Autronic ECU so I can not do other tests on this car.
The computer runs XP Pro SP2.
Could this be a faulty cable?
I can not connect to my Montero with this cable either.

I have it over there and have less reads than here. Being that this has to do with the brake system It may get a better response here rather than in engine tuning.
I do not think the cable that we use for evoscan is able to read or be able to do anything with the ABS system. Like when I had a faulty ABS sensor, the only way I was able to know what was going on with the ABS, was to take it to the dealer. I might be wrong on this, but you might go and ask the guys who deal with ecu reprogramming to get more info, like Tephra and such.

Thank you I suspected it does not work with ABS even though there were claims it would. Looks like wasted money.
To check your ABS codes just short pin 1 in the OBD II plug and turn the ignition on. Do not step on the brake pedal. The warning light will flash the codes. The service manual has a good section covering this.
