Help tein coilovers

i recently got new tires and went ahead and had them aligned and everything, driving on the way back i noticed the responsiveness and street performance went WAY DOWN under the hood i noticed the upper mount had been tampered with. i guess my question is, is that what changed the performance? and if i change it back, will it mess up my alignment?

Are sure the drop in performance had nothing to do with the tires. Reason being is that with those tiens, the only way to change camber is through those camber plates. It appears that you were either running no camber or positive camber prior to the alignment. After the alignment you have more negative camber which should have made the car corner better.

i went from the stock yokos to bfg kdw, same size and everything. do you know anything about those?
so lets say i move to full negative camber, that would increase performance but would if change the alignment?

Camber ... IS ... a part ... of the alignment.

From the looks of it your camber changed quite a bit. When I had my Tein Flex I had the camber set to the max (for my specific setup) and that was around -2.5 degrees. Do you have the sheet from the alignment shop showing your pre and post alignment settings? Did you ask them for a specific alignment (or style) or just have them align it to 'specs'?

What are your alignment settings now? Ride height? Tire specs and pressure? Coilover stiffness F/R?
