ROBISpec springs

So i just drove out to ROBISpec today to pick up some springs for the evo. All I can say is wow that dude is just awesome. In the 1 hour I was there I gained tones of knowlege about how to setup and evo and what parts make the biggest difference. That guy is just 100% kick ***.

Drop: 1.1f/0.9r

I will have them on tonight, and do a little bit of testing around the block. Next week I plan to pick up the ROBISpec rear sway bar and put that in.

I am trying to do one thing at a time so that I can feel the difference in the setup on the car. But anyway you cut it ROBISpec is just kick *** and awesome.

Yep, Robispec makes some great springs. I talked to him before and definately knows his stuff. If you ever autox your evo you will really notice the difference with Robispecs.

I got the spring on the car, and I put about 100 miles on the car. Overall the Ride is a little stiffer than stock, the few tight corners around my house I can take much faster(3-5mph). The front of the car does not feel like it is diving as hard.

Overall I am very satisified with the springs. It makes the car feel a lot more stable and planted around a corner.

Next install is the rear sway bar. I want to get a few hundred miles on the springs before I move on to the next upgrade.

The springs take away alot of the dive, especially during the transitions through the slaloms at an autox. I would personally recommend either a TRE rear diff or an acd flash for the next upgrade before a rear swaybar, imo. There tons of great info here
