Evo Rotors Suck!!!

Has anyone else had a problem with their EVO rotors warping? I just went in today for the second time to have them cut. I have only owned mine since May 5th. They told me if it keep happening they will not warranty it because they think I am beating on my car. I don't beat on my car....yeah I might drive a little hard here and there....but I travel the highway 40+ miles a day so I am almost always above 50 miles an hour. Anyone have this problem or am I the only one?

Also any suggestions for better rotors? I have heard to go with all 3...either cross drilled, slotted or dimpled....but then I have heard bad points to all three as well. I would apprecitate any help here and any suggestions including your poll vote.

Thanks
Derek

Hey I am having the same problem and there is a big fourm about it some where here. Most likely its not the rotors, its the brake pads and the cooling system for the rotors. You will need to buy some hard pads like ( bob cats ).

You are right, the rotors are NOT warped it's pad on the rotor and do a search this has been posted OVER and OVER and OVER, bob cats are pretty good as well as the HP+, again the rotor is fine.

I burned through the stock Advans in 4,500 miles, and have boiled my brake fluid twice, yet at 5k miles I have no perceptible warping in my rotors.

How many miles did you have when the problem manifested?

Well...my rotors were warped 2 times now. It's not the pads...I looked at all that myself....you could honestly feel where the rotors were warped when checking them out. I pulled the whole brake system out and looked it all over. I used to work on brake systems a long time ago so I am dead sure it's not the pads. I haven't paid for them....yet....so we will see what happens. First time...I think was around 5-6K and this time is 13.3K.

I really think you have uneven pad deposits.

8000 miles and no problems. I've autocrossed the car and done some open track and instructing with it and mine feel fine.
