Tire size question...

I've been searching for snow tires and rims in my area and came across a good deal on craigslist: 4 Michelin X-Ice Xi2 Snow Tires ~ Size 205/50-17 (mounted on mazda 5 rims)

My question: how far can i deviate from the stock tire size for the Evo? Would it negatively affect my car in anyway? I'm not even sure the rims would fit on my car, it has the same bolt pattern though.

The tire size shouldn't be a big problem, the thing I can see not working are the wheels. The bolt pattern is the same, but unlike the Mazda we have GIANT calipers. So you might have some clearance issues with em. Some wheel spacers might fix that but I'm not sure.
