S GS5/6's and RB et500 or stoptech

So i have narrowed it down to three choices of pads. Stoptech, satisfied gs 6's as i can't find the 5's anymore (what's the difference) or RB ET500. I use my car mainly for DD and the group i drive with does some spirited mountain driving once a month i might mildly auto-x. I DON'T want noisy pads. The cheaper the better obviously but i don't want a lot of brake fade. I currently have EBC Reds that were ehh.

I'd say the GS6 is closest to the Hawk HPS in stopping and dust, but a tad quieter. Can't speak for the others, however, as we do not carry them.

EBC Reds have the same bite as ET500 and GS5.

GS6s are more street oriented.

My all time favorite on the Evo was the GS5s.

I believe they, sadly, are not being offered anymore. ibrakeparts only has the GS6s.

I've called and worked with Satisfied in the past. They even made a set of GS5s for me once when out of stock. Hard to be that level of customer service. Shoot them a ring. See if they can do a set for you.

I think the GS line is being replaced or something as they were on closeout pricing from a bunch of vendors online. I picked up a set for the wifes Cooper S on closeout, thanks TireRack.
I run the ET500's on my car (my street pad) and they work fine, no noise, very low dust, decent bite. I autox them as well, and they've held up just fine.

I have the stoptech pads and other brake goodies sitting on my workbench at home. Unfortunately I am down at school away from my car so I cannot comment on them yet. There really isnt much data on them so we shall see.

SmikeEvo even driven on a set?

Im interested to see if anyone else can chime in on them...I have heard "rumors" that they are rebranded axxis ult's but I am not sure the validity of the statement.

Have not had a chance to try those. Used Girodisc Magics.

I've heard that rumor too. Not sure if they are indeed made by PBR (Axxis).

No noise. But not a ton of bite either. Pretty close to the HPS. I prefer much more bite in my pads.

I've been using the Racing Brake ET500 pads since December. IMO one of the better dd pads on the market. Quiet, low dust, and good bite for normal usage. I can actually lock the wheels with these pads.
