Whiteline vs Whiteline Plus

I am trying to understand the difference between these two products. For the 8/9 there seems to be some overlap for what they offer. They seem to offer a version of the bushing in both lines of products....

For example:

Whiteline plus lists: Rear Control arm - upper inner rear W62949

Image:

Whiteline lists: Rear Control arm - rear upper inner W0591

The difference is obvious - one is 2 piece and other is single etc...But, is the durometer different? The fact that the Plus comes wrapped in the metal make it better?

Anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks!

i dont see the need for the metal around the bushing, the only thing i could see is that if the poly is the same durometer then the smaller diameter of the poly on the sleeved version may be a little stiffer but not enough to make a noticable difference, buy the cheap one

I am wondering if the Plus is closer to OEM specs and hence it is black and has metal. Also, why it has the metal sleeve. I have not looked at all the whiteline plus items and do not know which all items cross over. I will try doing some research today.

^^ +1. Whiteline will give you the no kidding in difference. I would be curious as well. Personally, I think I am going to go with an aluminum RCA, so I wouldn't use either IMO.

I think the Whiteline Plus is a little more compliant, though they talk about their ability to be firm when needed. The regular Whiteline bushing should be firmer. I think. Bushings can be a little complicated.
