Help! tire rubbing on the inside

To make a long story short... have a built trans and (Evo 8 4th gear) I wanted to go faster in 4th (130mph). With out having to revv past 8k. I went with a taller tire.

By my calculations I would be able to hit 130+mph in 4th with the 235/55/17 at around less than 7800rpm on the stock final drive.

I put the tire on, it didn't clear the stock suspension (hit the bottom perch of the spring). So I ordered Apexi coil overs.

I put the wheels on tonight and now while the car is in the air it rub's when you turn the wheel. I rubs on the inner fender lining near the front of the side skirt. I haven't put the car on the ground yet because I kinda up set. The tire currently mounted on the rims are 235/55/17 BFG KDW 2 and according to tire rack's web site (where I ordered the tires) the height of the tire is 27.2"

How can I fix this issue, I don't think running a ton of neg camber will help this because it's not like its rubbing on the top and I need to tuck the top of the tire.

I think I goofed on this one...

I was hoping I wouldn't have to. Anyhow, I think I will go with the 245/45/17.

Just an FYI 8k will get you to 129.5 insufficient for 60-130 vbox runs. So it would have to be 8100

On the 245/45/17 8k will get me 131.5mph so I should be good.

This is depressing, hopefully tirerack will take the tires back. Its been over 30 days but the tires have never been driven on. I just want to exchange for another size. We shall see what they say in the morning.

Well I'm running a 245/45/17 tires on the OEM rims and OEM suspension. When I first installed them during hard U turns they would rub in the inner cover.

However after changing my clutch I decided to max the camber out (negative) and it has not rubbed since then. Basically I set the camber bolt for the most negative camber, as well as pushing against the rotor to maximize it even more.

Hoe that helps.

Issue is the tire height. 2" taller than the stock tire size is what's causing the rubbing.
