Question Which wheels: Volk LE37T or LE28N? 17 or 18s?

hey y'all,

well, i've finally seen the light and have purchased an evo viii... now it's time to set-up summer/winter wheels since i live in the frozen tundra of michigan now. decided to get michelin pilot alpin v-rated tires on the oem wheels for winter, but am indecisive about summer wheels . so here's the list of questions i'm leaving to debate, please feel free to voice all opinions:

1. LE37T or LE28N? love the polished lips... any word on weight differences?

2. 17s v 18s? i know the weight issue, but any word on looks, real compromise in performance? would like to autoX.

3. and the final question, gun-metal v mercury silver? kind of leaning towards the former, but let me know.

thanks for your time and looking forward to the consensus... been a while since i posted 04/02 i think, and it's good to be back .

peace,
pjork-master

LE28N is slightly lighter than LE37T. Maybe a pound or two. I'm going off the top of my head here.

18s look better, but they'll be heavier than 17s. I don't think it'll make much of a difference though. No real compromise in performance.

Gunmetal looks great but I think the Mercury Silver is a beautiful finish. Plus I feel gunmetal is getting too common.

So in the end I recommend 18" LE28N in Mercury Silver.

For a silver Evo though. Get gunmetal
