noise with these pads during street use is normal and will quiet down the more you heat cycle them during use and bed them to the rotors...ive run these same pads before and for the first few weeks they were LOUD!!! Then I did an autocross event and a track day on the road course with a lot of hard braking and they got A LOT quieter

It's normal for them to be screaming loud right when you put those pads in. It'll take some time to break them in for the noise to go away. I know my HPS pads were annoying, even after doing the break in that Hawk recommends. After 2 weeks of daily and hard breaking at every red light, the noise went away.

HP Plus are the noisiest pads I've had on my car - yes, noisier than PFC97 track pads. While I loved the initial bite of the HP+, there was simply no way to keep them quiet. Car sounded like a freight train coming to a stop. Bottom line .. if you want quiet pads, these aren't it.

dude the noise from it is because its a "race" pad. Race pads have no under layer the under layer you find in street pads is what controls the noise.
