What bushing is this?

I know the one with the bolt going through it is the lower inner front,

but is there a name for the bushing next to the block of wood?

The only negative that I know of on the Perrin that I installed, which is the added caster version, is that it's not legal for some Auto-x classes. Other than that, from a performance/comfort perspective I haven't found any downsides, only positives.

... BTW, why do you want to replace the OEM bushing? Is it torn? I'll sell you my old ones for cheap ... 50K miles on them.

Also, Ludi - Lets not forget the max caster moves the wheel forward in the front fender well. So some wheel/tire combos may experience rubbing.

Marcus,

You didn't find the ride stiffer after the install? It feels to me like I'm running 45PSI in the front tires all the time now.

Would I do the install again? Yes, best part is now under hard braking the car doesn't want to swap ends.

I have the PSRS as well and didn't notice any downsides to ride quality with adding it. I would do it again no problem!

I run 18x9s with 265/35 tires to begin with, so maybe that contributed to me not feeling that the ride stiffness changed with the Perrin. Did you leave the stock front bushing on the LCA, or do you run a poly bushing in conjunction with the Perrin? I left the stock rubber bushing in.
