alignment specs
Caster is nice for the "free" camber in turns, but also causes the jacking effect in that turning now raises the outside front wheel and lowers the inside front. On something like a 2G DSM, the chassis of which had lousy torsional rigidity, this was definitely worth it. Do you really think it's a positive on an Evo, too, which has a much stronger chassis?
Using the Tein plates its set to the only way you can add any amount of camber. It may be possible to re-drill the holes on the plate to allow it to be mounted in a different orientation, but it does give a little extra camber/caster from the stock orientation in this manor. IIRC, its 1-1.5* extra caster and camber.
Bringing this thread back, I am installing the Tein front camber plates tomorrow and I wanted to get some feedback on them. I was going to use Smike's guildline for the -2 bolt selection up front and -1 to -1.5 in the rear. Zero toe all around. Zero thrust angle
