If you've got a set, try it out. It's a quick swap.

Evo has 160 mm and STI has 155 mm. Also STI and Evo use differnt bolt step 1.5 vs 1.25 so you can pretty easily install Evo's on STI but not vice versa. Google a bit people had done it before. I personally see no sense

It was just a thought I found a good deal on Subaru calipers. It cost the same sa having my original brembos redone and I would be able to use the car while getting the OEM's refinished and it would look cool my STI and EVO have the same color calipers.

Thanks again

No, they will not hold up. If it was not about to rain here I would show you. They have not turned as bad as my before pics, but they are not as purdy as my after pics.

Going the other direction (putting EVO brembos on a Subaru) you end up with the leading piston being larger than the trailing piston, resulting in majorly uneven pad wear. If you swap them side to side you end up with the bleeder on the bottom, also not a good thing. So I think you'd have issues.

Anyway, wear your brownbos as a badge of pride. I'm being serious. Purple/brown brembos look cool to me.

mine have held up great to a once in a while track use, if you look in the drag section a lot of others have painted there calipers and are running 10's and others are Auto X racing. I haven’t seen anyone complain that they are fading or peeling.

I just painted mine with t ceramic kit. They are a brighter red than before and look pretty sick with the black wheels.
