Brake Caliper rebuild

so after doing a brake job and bleeding my brakes, I noticed my pedal still went to the floor unless I pumped it. for some reason I was stupid and replaced the brake master cylinder

turns out my upper pistons are failing on one of my brembo's in the front, and the other one needs a rebuild kit badly

will the rebuild kit fix my issue or is that caliper done?

it looks like fluid is leaking out from behind the failing pistons. is this just a seal that needs to be replaced?

As long as pistons are in good shape (which most likely they are) you can just buy the seal and dust ring kit and rebuild them .

Take the calipers off the car and get some compressed air as it is the easiest
way to get the pistons out. Be VERY careful while doing this, as the pistons tend to shoot out.

Use a block of wood to prevent any damage to your hands or the pistons.

Call Giro Disc and get the rebuild kits, and re install. Lube the pistons when you go to put them in and MAKE SURE that they are even and just press em back in.

I used a c clamp and one of those round spark plug gap tools over the piston as it is the perfect size. You must you equal pressure across the piston to get her back in. GL.

To retain the fluid in your system when you remove the caliper...use a valve stem. Just wedge it where the banjo bolt comes out of. I would rebuild all of em too. Kits are pretty cheap.

Those in the same boat may also consider Centric rebuid kits for Brembo calipers - those are much cheaper and are visibly excellent (I will rebuild mine in week or two, so will see whether they are as good practically, but there are a lot of good reports on them al over the web).
