Swift Spec-R's now a different color?

Just received my brand-spankin new swifts and was surprised to see them as black as I am from the waist down, instead of the light blue like they have always been...

have there been any changes/improvements with the design? Wondering why they would switch the color up without reason...

I talked to them on the phone and two different people said they didn't change anything about the spring rates / characteristics, only the color of the Spec-R's. The Sport's are still Red
