Tires

im looking for a new set of tires early because the stock advans are showing pretty good wear at 3000 miles... Anyone suggest a tire that i can get atleast 25-30k miles out of??? and still maintain a pretty handling car?

In the summer performance class, the Yokohama ES100 and Bridgestone RE750 will give you the best life. 20-25K miles

To really get the miles you are looking for, the ultra high performance all season class is best. In that case, the Pireli P-Zero Nero M+S or Michelin Pilot Sport A/S would be best. 30-35K miles

Neal,

I see that you are now recommending the P-Zero's. Before you said there was not enough data yet to really put an opinion on them...but things are looking better now?

You'll end up paying less! That's the nice thing about the Tire Rack and Neal in particular - good service, best prices. Hard to beat.

Actually.... Nothing on the Yoko's yet, however...the Sport PS2 in size 235/40-18 (Porsche GT-3 O.E. tire) is in stock. The 255/35-18 size are still missing in action.

Neal - how much for those 235/40-18s? I could run those on my 18x8.5 RS-GTs... 245 would be better, but...

235/40-18 MI PILOT SP PS2 currenlty running $237 each i wouild have to double check and see if Michelin will release them to you though since the are a Porsche OE tire. Sometimes they reserve them for Porsche customer only. Dont think there will be a prob though
