brake noise

I had this annoying sound coming from my brakes, and as anyone would think it would be because of it being time for pad/rotor change. I ordered new rotors and pads and had them replaced but the brakes still make the sound and feel exactly the same. it is almost as if the car is having trouble stopping. Could this be from my brembos needing a rebuild? The car ha less than 30k miles so i would imagine it would not. Any feedback would be great.

More details.

Describe how and when. On brakes? Coasting? What pads? What rotors? Who did the work?

i got stoptech rotors with the stoptech pads, you can almost hear the pads hitting the rotor when you brake and slow down. I do not understand this, the person that changed my brakes said i may need a rebuilt because where the pistons comeo out it is a little torn

Did you put anti seize on the back part of the brake pads, the side that matchs up with the brembos? Ive heard that works

Dust boots tear and wear overtime and heat. Piston scoring is completely different. Which was it?

Pistions = rebuild. Boot = fix.

Did they lube the sliding pins? Did you bed the pads?

i did everything that was necessary when installing them, the previous owner tracked the evo a couple of times and the brembo logo was gold from high heat. I am not sure if this has anything to do with it.

bleed

did you bleed all the brake lines? this wouldn't cause any sound but maybe have something to do with "stopping power"

i am going to check up on that, it feels as though my brake booster is not working correctly. The pedal is very hard but i really have to slam on them to get the car to slow down.

From reading your post it looks like you skipped the final step of the install.
