Took my car in to the dealer for a popping noise when I reverse or go forward and guess what they said. Could not dupilcate noise. Oh by the way evos do make all kind of sounds. I will drive for a bit and take back when I can take the forman for a ride. Did I mention they put 15 miles on the car. must have been a hell of a test drive. Does anyone eles get this noise?

Start over. What kind of noise and when does it happen? I sometimes get a popping noise from the brakes when I first move my car after it has set for a few days in wet weather. Four fast pops as the car begins to move. No big deal as near as I can tell.

I think the pads get stuck to the disc from dirt and rust. Only happens in wet weather. The worst time it took a couple of days driving before the discs regained their normal shiny appearance. Sort of like breaking in the brakes when the car was new.
