Evo Bilstein complete disassembly help

Has anyone disassembled the front struts of the bilstein completely? I was able to take out the strut insert but unable to take the bearing cap off the strut. Is it a press fit?

Try calling bilstein, try not to blow yourself up. I tried doing.... exactly what you are trying to do but gave up

Im glad to see Mike is back (according to your blog). I had a set of DSS race coilovers on my old 1g and they were bad ***! He was great to work with and wanted to make sure I got what I needed.

Im of no help on this, but will be watching!

AWDBus, yeah he is back and we are trying to develop some coilovers for the evos. So far its looking good. Working on a update on what is going on, but havent published anything yet. Just trying to finish up on some loose ends on this project. Those parts look awfully familiar. hehehe

thats the plan. the coilover kit will be very similar if not the same. now the camber plate will be different for sure, which is something in the near future also.

Btw I made of post on the coilovers
