Bilsteins installed today {thumbup}

Got a smokin deal on a set of MR Bilsteins today! 30000 mile take offs still on stock springs. Replacing my beat GSR struts... Install went smooth as this is about the 5th time installing springs on a car, took me 3 hours by myself, no lift and washing/cleaning the bilsteins first. I did however reuse the GSR specific Swift spec-rs, and the drop looks to be the same as before. The Bilsteins ride soo much smoother it is like night and day. I wish I would have done this a while ago!

I like the ride in my VIII. Guess I would have to ride in a car with Bilsteins to feel the difference and see if I like it.

Nope, took the stock springs off the Bilsteins, put the GSR Swifts on and called it a day, I don't track my car, so it wasn't a huge concern...

Good stuff Freddie...I kinda wish I threw springs on my Bilsteins and some Cusco camber plates up top before switching to coilovers. Oh well, I've had the BC BR series coilovers on my car for 3 yrs now, no complaints...

Thanks BJ, I have been getting some weird tire wear on my car lately and suspected it was from blown front struts (car had Teins on it when purchased), and I was actually looking at the Fortune Auto joints with the swift upgraded springs, but these came along and I took it...

Yeah the gsr springs work, but the spring rates are different between the two... I don't track the car, so it was n't worth it to spend another $300 on another set of swifts...

They are amazing! I got a set of used ones with MR SpecR's w/ just over 25k on them and it is a huge difference from the kyb's. At the track the car feels much more planted and predictable. They should have put bilsteins on all of em and not bothered with the kyb's.

The spring rate is not that much different, I run the same set up and totally different than the kyb strut
