rear lower control arms

the inner bushings on both my rear lower control arms are worn out and have movement in them. its the ones that are on the subframe side. i can find the ones for where the shock mounts to the arm but cant seem to find the ones for the sub-frame side where the adjustment bolt is. they dont move alot but i would rather change the bushing then get whole new arms. would it be the bump steer bushings?

The whitleline bump steer kit refers to a kit that replaces the bushings in the rear toe arms.

The bushings that you want to replace will be different. There are three bushings that need to be replaced on the lower control arm.

Here are the part numbers from the Whiteline website:

Rear

Control Arm Front Upper Inner Bushing: W0590
Control Arm Lower Inner Bushing: W62951
Control Arm Lower Outer Bushing: W62950
Control Arm Lower Shock Bushing: W32958
Control Arm Rear Upper Inner Bushing: W0591
Control Arm Upper Inner Rear Bushing: W62949

If you get the master bushing kit, does it come with these bushings?

your better buying a used set of control arms, the inner most bushing that attaches to the subframe is spherical,id never use one of the aftermarket ones there

Is their left/right, in/out, up/down movement or is it just rotation? The sphericals are known for going out periodically, but make sure its actually worn and not just rotating like its designed to do.

IIRC, you can just order the spherical bushing and replace that. Its a better option than putting in a rubber or urethane replacement unless its just a street car and see's harsh conditions.
