Doing a motor build....rebuilding car while apart.

Hey guys,

I'm doing a LR 2.4L build at the moment, and before the motor comes, I will basically be ripping apart the entire car and trying to address every aspect of the chassis, as it has 110K UNMAINTAINED miles from the previous owner.

My question to the suspension gurus is, what bushings/parts should I look at replacing? Common areas to address on a high mileage chassis?

I have motor mounts and will be picking up this kit from Energy Suspension:

What other parts/bushings would you recommend to replace while the car is apart?

Thanks!

Front:
Lower control arm inner
Replace or upgrade (perrin) trailing link. Dont use urethane replacement on this part.

Rear:
Trailing link bushing
Upper control arm bushings.
Inspect spherical bearings in control arms, replace as needed with OEM.

Inspect all ball joints, tie rods, and hubs with car loaded so you can put some real force on them. Replace as needed.

Alright. I just picked up:

Front Control Arm Bushings
Rear Trailing Arm Bushings
24mm Front Sway Bar Bushings
22mm Rear Spiral Sway Bar Bushings
Rear Differential / Mustache Bar Bushings

I'll obviously check over the ball joints/tie rod ends when I'm in there. They were fine 1200 miles ago, so they should be alright, but we'll see.

Thanks again.
