Would kill for this bushing.....

Hey guys, having one hell of a time trying to replace the bushing on my control arm where it connects to the subframe. I tried misubishiparts.net which had issues with my credit card address??? In the end the customer service was terrible and I was told ' I'd be better off getting them somewhere else. ' The dealer told me he wasn't sure he could even order them. I'd appreciate any insight at this point....

The front or rear bushing? I know Perrin makes one for the rear connection point. It comes in 2 styles(adjustable caster and non-adjustable caster). If I was replacing bushings I'd go aftermarket. Try Energy Suspension or Whiteline are the first 2 that come to mind.

Good luck

Perrin and Whiteline make a solid bushing. You don't want that for the road, it is made for the track.

I've read about the energy suspension one cracking and I was trying not to go with something solid in general. I like the way the OEM swivels but not sure I want to blow the money for the Perrin.

I put the energy suspension pieces in my LCA a while back the stock pieces were shot.

What a PITA they were to press in and the perrin piece was not avail then.

No ill effects such as binding or cracking of the bushing to note. I will def buy the perrin pieces if I have to do them again
