DBA series 5000 on backorder, recommended equivalent?
So i ordered my dba 5000's a little over a month ago and they were backordered unrolled the end of April, today I get a call and they are going to change the backorder date until the second week of June. My question is since I got my brakes for around $550 shipped, should I just keep the order or does someone have a rotor that is equal or better without breaking the bank?

Thanks Neal, but unfortunately $421 each is almost what I paid for a pair of them. Now if you could get that price down to other companies advertised prices I would be interested.
It's unfortunate that your supplier sold you what he did not have nor did he care to have the knowledge to know the extent of the back order.
I wonder where he's partying on your dime at tonight?
Neal - sorry you have to be a part of this.

Also, you can get the Gyro disc 2piece slotted stock replacements for around $700.

That's not a bad price!
I'm guessing your vendor made a huge mistake when quoting you, realized it, and is now waiting for you to cancel your order instead of losing a couple hundred dollars. Either that or you in fact have purchased only one rotor. Or perhaps the discs, but no hats.

I guess we will just have to wait and see. Do a Google search and you can find several vendors offering them for $600 and then I did have a $50 off promo code I used to get them to $550.
I don't doubt the back order as I have spoken with dba USA and they told me direct about the back order. They just had a shipments come in this week bit the ones they got in was already spoken for according to dba.
