Hi all,

I just changed my brake pads and as you can see in the pic below there is alot of 'scraping' on the edge of the frontdisks. Is this normal or do I need to rip the wheels off ASAP? There was NONE of this 'scraping' before changing the pads.

I'm really concerned something is wrong.

Reused the same rotors? What pads and rotors?

 

Stock rotor and EBC redstuff pads

Any ideas from what you can see?

 

Looks like you just need to seat or "bed" the new pads in.

 

It looks like something is really digging into the rotor. If so, no, definitely not normal.
