Do these work with aftermarket downpipes? (B&B?)

 

It depends on the downpipe. They work fine with the Helix:

 

Have you checked out the Works Croxx plate? It's a solid aluminum piece that has all 5 bolt holes in it and not only stiffens the front end more, it protects the underbody from all the crap that gets thrown at it.
