Anyone have tips for removing paint from wheels

Had my tires changed and it looks like one of my rims has a bad bend in it. Found Ralliart rims on Craigslist at a good price and wanted to swap my tires to them. However, they are painted gold and I'd like them back to stock. What would be the best way to do this without it costing a ton of money? Picture of the one of the rims below. Thanks for any help.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Sand blaster.
Sand paper.
Repaint with rattle can.
Take to body shop and have repainted.

If the wheel was properly painted you will pretty much need to do what Smike said as they probably sanded and primed/painted it

Yep. If I were you, I'd just buy the gold wheel(s) and repaint 4 wheels to the same color.

I don't prime or sand blast anymore, I just sand down the rough spots, wash thoroughly and re-paint. Harley-Davidson rattle can paint is amazing, I've never had a chip or flake and I've painted LOTS of stuff with it.

^^Yeah, agree, except never tried Harley-Davidson paint. Its going to look just as good with a little sanding and a rattle can.

It doesn't crack on a balloon, I work for Harley-Davidson and we've tried our spay paint on everything, never seen it flake, crack or chip. I've shot everything from my spark plug cover to all of my interior and a set of Viii rims, our paint is amazing. I never clear coat either, raw paint. The only clear I use is our denim for a great flat finish.

Aircraft stripper does the job with little to no labor. Scuff the paint with some scotch pads and apply with a paint brush. Come back a few minutes later and wipe it off clean. I did this with some Regamasters a few weeks ago and it worked great. I'll try to find some pics.
